You will find us perched on a cliff top on the rugged Atlantic coast, overlooking Combesgate Beach and between the timeless village of Mortehoe and the traditional seaside and surf spot of Woolacombe. At Watersmeet you will find 28 individually decorated bedrooms and suites, a two-AA rosette restaurant, stunning al fresco terrace and an indoor and outdoor pool with spa.
We are also the ideal setting for all manner of private and corporate gatherings, with weddings a particular speciality. Our event spaces have been further enhanced with the creation of a multipurpose area on the lawn for informal and formal alfresco dining and smaller wedding ceremonies and parties.

Our Rooms
Our guests here at the Watersmeet Hotel are always telling us how well they sleep when staying with us. We put this down to a combination of the fresh sea air, the very best pocket sprung beds, the thickest and most luxurious duvets (like sleeping under a gigantic marshmallow!), crisp white linen and superior memory foam pillows. The Watersmeet Hotel was designed to make the most of its beachside location. All but three of the hotel’s rooms offer spectacular sea views taking in Combesgate Beach, Lundy Island and Baggy Point. A number of our bedrooms have white, wooden balconies where you can sit and watch magnificent sunsets behind Woolacombe Bay.
Rocks Restaurant
The Rocks Restaurant offers stunning sea views of the beautiful North Devon coastline, with a west facing vista taking full advantage of those breath-taking sunsets. This perfectly complements the 2AA Rosette dining experience served each evening.
We offer freshly prepared classic dishes using the very best ingredients the area has to offer, prepared by our dedicated team of chefs. A well-stocked, contemporary wine cellar ensures your meal is perfectly complimented.
